Get ready to think outside the box, tinker with new ideas, and create amazing inventions! At Think, Tinker, Create, we will explore the exciting world of engineering and discover how it shapes the world around us. Through hands-on challenges, young innovators will design, build, and test their own creations—learning the power of problem-solving and teamwork along the way. From constructing towering structures to experimenting with simple machines, each day will be filled with exciting projects that spark curiosity and creativity. Join us for a week of engineering adventures at Think, Tinker, Create! 🔧💡

DETAILS:

Campers must be between ages 5 & 9 years old at the time of camp to attend.
There is a 15 camper maximum for each week of camp.
Campers must be sent with a snack, lunch, water bottle, and change of clothes daily.
Outside toys are not permitted at camp.
All participants must be fully potty-trained and independent in the bathroom to attend camp.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CAMP CHECK-IN:

Drop-off will be at the Cowan House door on Second Street at 9am. AM care with early drop-off starting at 8am can be added for $25 per week by choosing “Camp + AM Care” under “Ticket type” for your chosen week of camp.
A Museum team member will be at the door to welcome campers.
Guardian must sign-in the camper before leaving.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CAMP CHECK-OUT:

Pick-up will be at the Science Center doors next to the main entrance at 1pm.
A Museum team member will be near the door to assist campers with gathering their belongings.
Guardian must show ID & sign-out camper before leaving.

Camp Superkid (Ages 5-9)

July 7th - 11th

Calling all future heroes! At Camp Superkid, every camper will discover their superpowers and learn what it takes to be a hero. Through fun-filled activities and exciting challenges, campers will create their own superhero identities, develop awesome powers, and work together to save the day! Throughout the week, we’ll tackle missions, design gadgets, and train like real heroes. From mastering superhero agility to using science to develop superpowers, campers will build teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity while having the time of their lives. Are you ready to be a hero? Join us at Camp Superkid for a week full of super fun, super skills, and super teamwork! 🦸‍♂️💥

Animal Adventures (Ages 5-9)

Get ready to embark on a wild journey at Animal Adventures! This camp is all about discovering the amazing world of animals from all corners of the globe. Each day, we’ll uncover fascinating facts, surprising adaptations, and the incredible ways animals interact with their environments. But the adventure doesn’t stop there! We’ll also step into the role of a real-life veterinarian in our Animal Alley exhibit, where campers will imagine what it’s like to care for animals big and small. From learning about pet care to practicing hands-on activities, we’ll dive into what it takes to keep our furry, scaly, and feathered friends happy and healthy. Put on your lab coats and safety goggles—it’s time to experiment, explore, and discover! This week at Summer Scientists Camp, we’ll dive into the scientific method, learning how real scientists ask questions, test ideas, and make exciting discoveries. Campers will get hands-on with test tubes, microscopes, and thrilling experiments, recording their findings in personal science journals just like real researchers. From chemistry reactions to close-up investigations of the microscopic world, every day will bring a new opportunity to observe, hypothesize, and uncover the wonders of science. Who knows? Time Travelers (Ages 5-9)

Pack your bags (and your imagination) because we’re going on an epic journey through time! At Time Travelers Camp, campers will explore different eras of history—from the age of the dinosaurs to ancient civilizations, medieval castles, and even the future! Each day, we’ll step into a new time period, uncovering the incredible inventions, cultures, and mysteries of the past while imagining what the future might hold. Through hands-on activities, games, and creative projects, campers will dig up fossils, design medieval shields, build ancient structures, and even invent futuristic gadgets. Get ready for a week of adventure, discovery, and time-bending fun at Time Travelers Camp! Who knows where (or when) we’ll end up next? 🦖📜🏛️🕰️
